two of my favorite people to talk about are my dear friends cody and michelle.
they currently live in iraq and run an incredible organization, preemptive love coalition.

nothing but kindness, wisdom and genuine interest has come from them, as they have been huge encouragers of my business from the beginning. in fact, it was michelle who–over alisal milkshakes on a sunday afternoon–spelled out just how i should legally and logistically turn my passion and dreams into a business. it was their belief in me that jumpstarted so much of what i do and love today.
4 years ago, they were the first people that paid me for my photos.
i miss them and our summer themed dinners terribly, but i’m so excited for the work they are doing in iraq and for the opportunity to contribute in tiny ways from afar. here are a few images of their new tshirts and a few of my fantastic friends i coerced into modeling:
