last friday, while chris was teaching an evening class at soulcycle, his boyfriend brad and 50 of his friends were in the lobby, anxiously awaiting a huge surprise. i’m pretty sure every one of us were crying and shaking as we stood outside the door, listening to chris and brad’s song play from inside the cycle room as the class wrapped up. (one of their friends wrote a beautiful post here describing the entire thing from inside class!!) brad walked in right in the middle of the song, up to a shocked chris, said some beautiful words that had everyyyyone crying, and proposed! everyone celebrated with teary hugs, champagne, and vegan cake, obviously. couldnt be happier for the two of them.

i knew from the second i saw audrey’s work that she was the COOLEST and someone i wanted to be friends with!! that was only confirmed after i met her and sang in person and found that they are BOTH such cool, laid back, funny people. we started this day with wine, debriefed lemonade, and finished it with pizza. i couldn’t be more excited to photograph their wedding in ktown this summer!!
