i rang in the new year in koreatown, spent the last of january in palm springs, spent two evenings in the ER for getting strep throat (TWICE), celebrated chinese new year in SF, celebrated valentines day in san diego, spent “spring break” in a snowstorm in the grand canyon, and celebrated easter in boise with family. i’ve had a handful of guests stay in my home, read 17 books (and joined a book club!), and finally watched all of the oscar nominated films. i’ve ~survived~ the seasonal depression and creative lull that hits me every october and lifts every march, and am gearing up for a super busy wedding season! i’m very happy about the fact that i struggled to find ~cool~ iphone photos for this set, because it means that i’m doing well on my new years resolution to photograph my daily life more on my other equipment, and means that i’ve spent more time in general just being present with other people.
