i honestly wish i could put into words just how full of love & magic saturday, september twenty ninth was.
years & years ago, chelsea’s younger sister–tammy (the gorgeous maid of honor) was my favorite babysitter. earlier this year, tammy emailed me asking for my information to send to her sister. BADA BING. short story shorter, i met with chelsea & tony, took their engagement pictures and was beyond honored to be a part of their wedding this past weekend.
my goodness. i truly truly wish i could have written down the sweet words they spoke back and forth. i wish i could have recorded the sweet look on chelsea’s dad’s face when he saw her for the first time. i will never ever forget tony’s reaction the first time he saw his gorgeous bride–& i know she won’t either. tears all around.
to say they are THE sweetest couple ever would be an understatement. a huge freaking understatement. tony & chels belong together. it is entirely evident in the way they look at each other, speak to one another, speak about one another. they are wonderful, gracious, fun & loving human beings. their day was a pure reflection of who they are: a fun, whimsical carnival wedding on the coast of santa barbara. the best tacos in the world. string lights & red balloons & best friends. a genuine & evident love that melts my little heart. i pray that these pictures do it justice.
Pure perfection! Great job, kenz!

I was listening to this song as I was scrolling down the photos, and it seemed so fitting I had to share:

What a blessing to be drawn into a story of two people in love… words not needed. I loved seeing the bond of sisters, private moments getting ready, the first glance and a beautiful wedding, Santa Barbara style. Chelsea, I could feel your mom’s presence shining down. May your love for each other grow deeper with each passing year. My love and congratulations to you both. Gina Floyd
